WELS Systems Foundation provides comprehensive and data-driven services for early learning systems. Among the services offered, WELS proudly supports educators in career advancement through the Professional Portal. The Professional Portal supports educators employment, professional learning, and documentation of achievement. Growth is embedded throughout the design of all services offered by WELS Systems Foundation and early learning professionals have access to exploring resources and online tools to advance their careers.

The Early Care and Education (ECE) Professional Portal offers resources to support early care and education professionals with their careers.
My Early Childhood Career Journey
Early learning professionals enter, store and update data that support and advance career paths in the field. Each sections of the Career Journey collects and stores information about experiences in early care and education.
My Information
My Information is where early learning professionals enter, store, and update personal information. This includes demographics, spoken languages, and contact information.
My Place of Employment
In My Place of Employment early learning professionals add information about current employment and positions in early care and education.
My Education
Early learning professionals share information about education they have completed to include degrees, as well as certifications, credentials, and professional development trainings.
My Resume
My Resume is an optional feature that uses the information entered into a profile to build a personalized professional resume. The resume can be saved to a device as a word document, which can be edited, saved and printed as needed. In addition, a personalized link can be generated to share the resume with employers or seeking new opportunities in the field.
Training Calendar
Early learning professionals explore available professional development opportunities, register for sessions, and keep a record of completed professional development using the tools within the Training Calendar.
Career Pathways
WELS supports early learning professionals at the local, state, and/or regional level access pathways within quality initiatives including QRIS and other CQI efforts.
